​Welcome to Luna.

These Terms & Conditions explain the rules for using our website, app, learning tools, subscriptions, and related services. By creating an account, starting a free trial, buying a subscription, or allowing your child to use Luna, you agree to these terms.

1. Who is Luna

Luna is an online learning service that helps children practise reading, vocabulary, comprehension, and related learning skills through stories, quizzes, word review, and parent progress tools.

In these terms, “Luna”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the operator of Luna.

2. Who Luna is for

Luna is designed for children’s learning, but accounts must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian.

Parents are responsible for:

  • creating and managing the account;

  • choosing the correct subscription;

  • setting up child profiles;

  • supervising their child’s use of Luna where appropriate;

  • keeping login details and parent PINs safe;

  • making sure Luna is suitable for their child.

Children should only use Luna with permission from their parent or guardian.

3. What Luna provides

Luna provides digital learning tools, which may include:

  • personalised stories;

  • vocabulary practice;

  • comprehension questions;

  • review quizzes;

  • word banks;

  • progress tracking;

  • parent dashboard features;

  • child profiles;

  • learning rewards such as badges, streaks, or coins.

We may add, change, improve, or remove features over time.

4. Luna is a learning support tool

Luna is designed to support learning practice. It does not replace a teacher, school, professional educational assessment, or parental judgement.

We do not guarantee:

  • exam success;

  • admission to any school;

  • specific academic results;

  • a particular improvement within a fixed time;

  • that all content will match every exam board, school, or child perfectly.

Progress depends on many factors, including regular use, the child’s starting level, motivation, external support, and individual learning needs.

5. Accounts and child profiles

To use Luna, a parent or guardian may need to create an account.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and child profiles.

You must not:

  • create an account using false information;

  • impersonate someone else;

  • share your account with people outside your household;

  • allow unauthorised people to access your account;

  • use Luna in a way that could harm the service or other users.

Family plans may allow more than one child profile, subject to the limits shown on the Pricing or Billing page.

6. Free trials & Subscriptions

  • Luna offers monthly and annual subscription plans.

  • Eligible new parent accounts may receive a 3-day free trial.

  • The free trial is available once per parent account.

  • When starting a free trial, you choose an Individual or Family plan and either a monthly or annual subscription.

  • Unless you cancel before the end of the free trial, your selected subscription will automatically continue as a paid subscription.

  • You will be charged the price shown at checkout for the plan you selected.

  • Monthly subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled.

  • Annual subscriptions renew automatically each year unless cancelled.

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future renewal charges.

  • Cancelling does not normally provide a refund for a subscription period that has already started, except where required by law or where Luna agrees otherwise.

  • Current subscription prices are shown on the Pricing page and may change from time to time.

  • Any applicable price will be shown before you start a free trial or purchase a subscription.

7. Payments

Payments are processed through Wix and/or its payment partners. We do not directly store your full payment card details.

You are responsible for making sure your payment information is accurate and up to date.

If a payment fails, your access to paid features may be paused, restricted, or cancelled.

8. Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel your subscription through your account, Wix subscription settings, or by contacting us at: hello@lunalearns.com

Cancelling stops future renewals. It does not always automatically refund past payments.

If you cancel during a free trial, your access may continue until the end of the trial period unless stated otherwise.

If you cancel a paid subscription, your access may continue until the end of the period you have already paid for.

9. Refunds

Refunds are handled in line with applicable consumer law and the refund rules shown at the time of purchase.

Because Luna provides digital services and online access, refund rights may depend on when the service started, whether the trial has ended, whether paid access has already been used, and the rules of the payment provider.

We will review refund requests fairly.

10. Parent PIN and child zone

Luna may include a child zone and a parent PIN to help separate child learning mode from parent controls.

Parents are responsible for:

  • choosing a secure PIN;

  • keeping the PIN private;

  • managing access to parent settings;

  • ensuring children do not access parent-only areas.

If you believe your account or PIN has been accessed without permission, contact us as soon as possible.

11. Learning content and AI-generated material

Some Luna content is generated or supported by artificial intelligence.

We aim to provide age-appropriate, helpful, and accurate learning content, but AI-generated content may sometimes be incomplete, inaccurate, repetitive, or unsuitable for a particular child.

Parents should use their judgement and contact us if they notice any content that seems incorrect, inappropriate, or concerning.

Children are never asked to write open-ended prompts to generate stories or quizzes. Luna generates learning content using controlled app settings, parent-selected learning goals, child-selected options, and learning progress data.

We may review, improve, remove, or update content at any time.

12. Acceptable use

You must not use Luna to:

  • break the law;

  • upload or enter harmful, abusive, offensive, or inappropriate content;

  • attempt to access another user’s account;

  • interfere with Luna’s systems or security;

  • copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or misuse the service;

  • use Luna for commercial purposes without our permission;

  • share paid access outside your household;

  • generate or request inappropriate content.

We may suspend or close accounts that misuse Luna or breach these terms.

13. Intellectual property

Luna, including its name, design, software, stories, quizzes, learning content, graphics, logos, and other materials, belongs to us or our licensors.

You may use Luna for personal, non-commercial learning purposes only.

You must not copy, sell, publish, distribute, or reuse Luna content or software without our written permission.

14. User content and feedback

If you send us feedback, suggestions, comments, or ideas about Luna, you allow us to use them to improve the service without owing payment or credit.

If Luna allows you or your child to enter answers, preferences, or other content, you are responsible for making sure that content is appropriate.

15. Availability of the service

We aim to keep Luna available and working well, but we cannot guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

We may pause access for maintenance, updates, security reasons, technical issues, or reasons outside our control.

16. Changes to Luna

We may update Luna from time to time, including changes to:

  • features;

  • content;

  • layout;

  • subscription plans;

  • pricing;

  • technical systems;

  • learning tools.

If we make major changes that materially affect paid users, we will try to give reasonable notice where appropriate.

17. Account suspension or termination

We may suspend or close an account if:

  • these terms are breached;

  • payment fails;

  • we suspect misuse, fraud, or unauthorised access;

  • the account creates a legal, safety, or security risk;

  • we need to do so to protect Luna or other users.

You may stop using Luna at any time and may request account closure by contacting us.

19. Responsibility and limitations

We will provide Luna with reasonable care and skill.

However, to the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for:

  • exam outcomes;

  • school admissions decisions;

  • learning results that do not meet expectations;

  • interruptions outside our reasonable control;

  • loss caused by incorrect information provided by a user;

  • unauthorised access caused by failure to keep login details secure;

  • indirect or consequential losses.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited, including your statutory consumer rights.

20. Third-party services

Luna may rely on third-party services such as Wix, payment processors, hosting providers, analytics tools, email tools, or AI service providers.

We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that we do not control.

 

21. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time.

If we make important changes, we will try to notify users by email, website notice, or another appropriate method.

The latest version will always be available on this page.

22. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If there is a dispute, the courts of England and Wales will usually deal with it, unless consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
